BOGGI MILANO WINS THE RETA AWARDS (RETAIL TECHNOLOGY AWARDS EUROPE)

Boggi Milano has won the Reta Awards (Retail Technology Awards Europe) for the category Best Instore Solution and Best Omnichannel Solution. This prestigious prize is awarded by the EHI Retail Institute, a German scientific centre based in Cologne that works on research and the identification of significant trends in the retail sector.

The prize-giving took place at the Düsseldorf Rheinterrasse on 27 February, on occasion of EuroCis, a leading trade fair for Retail sector technology held in Düsseldorf from 27 February to 1 March.

The Reta Awards, now at their 11th edition, are currently assigned every year to companies operating in the Retail sector which have achieved particular excellence for innovative ideas and techniques in the following areas: Best Customer Experience, Best Enterprise Solution, Best InStore Solution and Best Omnichannel Solution. The jury consists of representatives from the sectors of reference: industry, the academic world, and research institutes.

Boggi Milano, awarded the prize for the category ‘Best Omnichannel Solution,’ emerged from amongst a series of companies who have enhanced their IT platform by creating a close interaction between offline and online channels. Boggi Milano achieved its objective: to provide its customers with an efficient Omnichannel service.

As part of the Boggi Milano shopping experience, the Omnichannel service is based on a combination of component parts belonging both to the physical and digital worlds.  Customers can make their purchases in the way that they prefer: Click&Collect (purchase online, collect the items from the Boggi Milano store chosen by the customer); Reserve in Store (booking one or more articles online and trying them on in a Boggi Milano store with the help of a personal shopper), and Order in Store (ordering one or more articles online directly from the Boggi Milano store).
